Going on holidays ~ be (right?) back

actually in two weeks. I'm a bit of a Bedouin. I love to travel and thankfully so does my family. And that means that we choose each year a different type of holiday.

Last year we stayed on our own coast and we had lovely time. Two years ago, we were in Croatia. A year before that in south Dalmatia also part of Croatia, etc...

In our "short" time of being a family we visited Tunisia ~ twice and had a marvellous time. But that was before current troubles. We were in Italy. Made days trips to Austria and Croatia ~ well, as they are our neighbouring countries, no wonder. And we travelled around our country.

Five years ago we did a 'round' trip around south, south-west and east England with our own car. Travelling through Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium - have really interesting stories with our encounters with The R0 road around Brussels, France and back. And we had a marvellous time.

It's a long story, why we did it that way. Perhaps next time.

Having so much fun, seeing so many things and due to a bit of a terrifying situation in Europe and the Mediterranean, my OH and I decided to return back to the UK, hoping for other remarkable and unforgettable days.

I'll try to post some photos, but as I'm not planning to take my laptop with me, this might be a bit difficult.

You're probably asking: 'Where are they going?'

Well, here is the answer...

Oh, did I mention I always name our travels?

Seven months

I started to write my WIP #3 in January. To be precise - on 4th of January. Seven months and eleven days later - the manuscript has 101.000 words and I'm almost nearly done with my first, second and third draft. But I'm not finished yet.

I know, I know... a lot of writers say that you should write first draft and finish it, without editing it during the process of writing. Well, I'm not most of writers. I don't do 'by the book'. I'm not a plotter either so my writing is a bit of a mess.

I go where the characters take me and sometimes they take me back to correct their 'wrong' doings. And that's what I like with the writings. Nothing is set in stone most of the things can be corrected - including my characters' lives - until those last two words are written - The End

But here is another problem. I have an agreement with my editor to send her my manuscript till 1st August. You are probably thinking why I am panicking. Well, I'm not - yet. The thing is, I don't have two weeks’ time to finish my three drafts of my manuscript. I have one week only.

Why, you ask?

The thing is next Saturday my family and I are going away for our two weeks holiday. No. I'm not going to tell you right now where we are going. But the thing is - we'll be mostly travelling and...

Well, holidays are holidays, right?

4th 5 STAR review or what I call... WOW!

Finding this review on Amazon.com for my novel All That the Heart Desires made me put my phone away in disbelief. After several minutes I held it in my hands again and pushed the reload button once more to be completely and 100 percent sure that the review I saw and read before was really there.

To read among other things:
"Simply unputdownable!"
and
'Definitely worth more than 5*.'

made me feel... how to put this - this has made me feel as high as a kite... (oops)...

It's another 5

review and I you can believe me - I've been smiling ever since.

Well, let's be honest - what's in there not to like?!
